From Thornes & Pain To Flowers & Power
September 28th, 2008 in galleryThis is a toddler poncho and hat set. I embellished the hat with my own flower design. The flower is crocheted in pink and is set off in the center by a dark pink round and a light pink vintage button. Injured in 2001, I live in cronic pain and spend many hours in bed. I decided to turn the pain and time on my back into clothing for children and gifts for friends and family. This is one of the items I came up with. There is no hurry to finish any job and if need be I set it down and pick it up again when I can. It empowers me to know I can still create something new and useful.
