Make It Pink: Adding Reverse Appliqué to a Cosmetic Bag

It is a womanly cause we can all get behind. Sometimes a gentle reminder is a great way for us to remember the warriors of this disease, and this cosmetic bag is a great, stylish way to do that! Complete steps 1 and 2.
| Pin the zipper to the bag fabric right sides together and matching the raw edges. |
When moving on to step 3, complete as directed, except flip the lining so the right side is facing up.
| Match the wrong side of the lining to the zipper. |
Continue through the directions and stop at step 7. Using a water-soluble marking pen, draw a ribbon on the bag fabric.

Stitch around the ribbon on your drawn line through the bag fabric and lining.
| Stitch on the drawn line, and cut just inside of the stitching through the bag fabric only. |
Cut slightly inside your stitching but through your bag fabric only, not through your lining. Finish the bag as directed and enjoy!
