Pink is a pretty powerful colour
comments (1) October 31st, 2008 in galleryThis collage was truly a group effort. The picture was given to my son by his grandmother when he was 2. Bessie Pease Gutmann was her daughter Gayle's favourite artist. Gayle did not survive breast cancer. My now 16 year old son did not appreciate the original picture anymore. I "recycled" it as a way for both my daughter and son to remember and honour Auntie Gayle. I am a fan of Cameron Tuttle and felt that Gayle would be as well-so I added her sage words of advice "TODAY'S TO DO: Make a donation to fight breast cancer. Do something creative with a pink ribbon." Gayle would be tickled pink.
