The trio that owns Stitch Lounge, an impossibly cool drop-in sewing studio in San Francisco, always wow us with their style and creativity. We recently met up with the ladies of Stitch Lounge while they were manning their Stitch Lounge/Singer booth, at Maker Faire in California, and convinced them to share a project with us.
What they chose, a sweater-restyle, is a lightening-speed variation on a similar project in their second book, Subversive Seamster.
In this video two of the three lounge owners, Hope Meng and Melissa Alvarado, turn a fallen-out-of-favor turtleneck sweater into a shawl-collared bolero with matching gloves. The results are, predictably, adorable.
