Twist Collective Offers Up Stylish Patterns to Knit and Crochet
November 20th, 2008 in knitting, crochetCheck out the latest issue of Twist Collective, a new (mostly) knitting web zine. They have a selection of great looking patterns with beautiful photography-- and if you're interested in any of the patterns, just wave your mouse over the picture for information about how to download the pattern (usually for a small fee). Crocheter Amy O'Neill Houck convinced them to sneak a little crochet into this issue with her Elissa Hat and Scarf Set, which is available for free until February of 2009. The pattern is worked up in yummy sock yarn from Pagewood Farm- I made my first pair of socks from their yarn and it was delicious! I like the idea of using it for a lightweight hat and scarf set, although I just went outside here and my face nearly froze, so perhaps it'd make a better gift for someone in a warmer climate.
