Oh yes, the June weather here in the Pacific Northwest is frightful (50 degrees and raining!) So we are extremely grateful for the artful delights of Portland OR’s Crafty Wonderland. Started in 2006 by Portland Super Crafty members Cathy Pitters and Torie Nguyen, this crafting extravaganza features the latest, the hippest and the most absolutely fabulous in handmade wonder. On Sunday, June 8th, Jennifer Worick and I are piling into the Volvo and heading south from Seattle to the ultra-cool log-cabin themed Doug Fir Lounge in downtown Portland, where we will treat our senses to the crafting wonder-wares of over forty vendors.
