Craft Alert for West Seattle
June 9th, 2008 in sewing, other crafts, home decoratingI accidentily stumbled upon Hancock Fabrics in Seattle the other day on my way to the grocery store. Sadly, there was a huge sign announcing the closing of this store to make way for Whole Foods. The next thing to grab my attention was the banner that advertised that everything in the entire store(including the fixtures) was on sale--40 to 60 % off! I poked my head inside and it was pretty amazing. I really am not building up my fabric stash right now--but if you are, there are some great deals. There are also fantastic savings to be found if you're in the market for sewing notions. I picked up some knitting needles and silk thread that was fifty percent off. If you live in the area head on over. The cashier told me that the store would remain open until everything is gone. Here is the address:
Hancock Fabrics
3922 SW Alaska St
Seattle, WA 98116
