Disc-y Decorations!
December 19th, 2008 in other crafts, gifts, paper crafts, holidaysLast weekend I was in Charleston, SC—one of the best cities to visit in the Southeast. It’s full of history, beauty, and charm. And, although my stay was brief, I was able to spend some time wandering the streets, soaking up inspiration. Of course, I had to visit the City Market, which is more than 200 years old and a great place to find local crafts (and some not so local). It’s made up of four large buildings, each displaying Sweet Grass baskets, which are so iconic to the Low Country. They don’t want photographs taken of them, but I spotted this tree in The Market that was decorated by a group of school children. It’s a fun project to do with kids—or do it yourself for that matter!
