I bought the silver headband at H&M for $3.90, used a jeweled brooch (insetad of a button) that I got at a garage sale for 25 cents, and had the feathers at home already. Instead of denim and interfacing I just used some scrap pink felt. I also trimmed, cut and shaped the feathers to make the bouquet less full, and I used a curling iron to round them a bit so they followed the curve of the head.

I wanted to buy a head band like this for my friend for Christmas, but the ones in Nordstrom that I liked were priced from $48 to $68! Yikes! So I made this one for under $5.00, and it comes from the heart. Hope she likes it!
