Tweedle Dee Dee! Tweedle Dee Dee! Photo: Annika deGroot

I made a slew of these cuties for a gathering of ladies who sew. Since we were meeting in London, I thought tweed teapot pin cushions would be a lovely memento.

Each teapot's body was made from a circle of tweed that was gathered and sewn onto a smaller circle of faux leather; the spouts and handles were made of faux leather hand-stitched to the tweed bodies. A black button turned upside down and glued to the top of the tweed body serves as a lid for each teapot.
