Lion Brand and fiber artist Robyn Love teamed up last December to create this amazingly HUGE crochet cozy to top one of Manhattan's water towers. The installation, designed and executed by Love, with Lion Brand yarn was made to bring awareness to the prestigous D & AD Pencil Awards, an organization that recognizes, educates, and promotes creative excellence within creative industries.

tatamata writes: This is ridiculous. What waist of time, yarn and man force, for something that will be rubbish after a few rainy days. Wouldn't it be better if you made some baby clothes for unfortunate kids in your hood.
