CraftStylish Handcrafts the Booth for CHA
January 25th, 2009 in other craftsAbout a month ago CraftStylish bloggers Jeffery Rudell and Kayte Terry came up to our offices in Connecticut to brainstorm ideas for our booth at CHA. We wanted to make something really special that would capture the great crafting spirit of our website and incorporate the CHA 2009 show theme "It's Easy Being Green." We came up with this wild idea of handcrafting our booth onsite in California with more than 350 folded magazines and a fuchsia-colored 20-foot wall to spotlight a big screen TV featuring the CraftStylish site. The trick was how to take this idea and realize it across the country with only about a day to execute the whole thing. I won't lie to you—it wasn't exactly easy, but it was completely worthwhile.
Tomorrow we'll post more pictures and details on CraftStylish at CHA 2009.
