So CraftStylish at CHA
January 29th, 2009 in other craftsCall me biased, but seriously, "Paris who?" When I got to CHA, the number one thing on my list was to see the booth that Michaela had been raving about for days! And it didn't disappoint! Not only was it full of many of my fellow bloggers, people I've long respected but never met in the real world, but it was also the prettiest, greenest booth I've ever seen.
It's impressive enough when you hear that it's made of 350 magazines, but when you see it. . . woah. It stopped many a jaded convention attendee in his/her tracks. All the folks who built the booth should be awful proud. It was a great example of the kind of community thinking that makes this place so great!

I'm so glad you will be posting more about it.
I could really see three in a row on a wall, or two and two square.
I don't think I would ever be so ambitious as you were.
Just gorgeous.
I think, if I'm remembering clearly, that I have seen an artist somewhere in my websurfing who does altered books/paper sculptures and had something like this done as well- unless it was another person who had them all in white.
Well, anyway, simply stupendous!
thanks for posting it.

Let me gather my pics and whip up something--I will try and post it next week.
Thanks for the idea.
