Some bangles that I've decoupaged recently using dilapidated old encyclopedias. I LOVE the old books-- they get discarded from libraries and schools since the information is no longer accurate, but they are a jackpot gold star christmas birthday red velvet cake all in one for me-- they have the best images and the ones that are in color have that saturated 60's wash to them, which I just adore... especially the maps! I make these bangles almost obsessivly and have started to sell them almost out of neccesity-- I have mazillions of them in my house, and only 2 wrists!

gabizoidal writes: No worries, Daddies_Whole_World! I actually did a demo at CHA on how to make them, and think I might post a tutorial here.... they're pretty straightforward, if not just a little time consuming. The basic gist is that you have to cut a strip of paper long enough to reach around the outside of the bangle plus a little (usually about 10 inches) and wide enough to curve around plus a little more to fold onto the inside, and then cut it into strips so that it will lay flat once you glue the pieces down one at a time.. i try to line them up on the middle and let the edges overlap a little bit, i like how it adds to the overall look of it.
