I Love Fuschias!

Now I can have my fuschias and wear them too!  :-)
Everything I need to create my vision of Spring and fuschias.
Those lovely blossoms just came to life in bright ribbon and beads - I can feel the warm breeze making them dance (or the cold one considering its 12 degrees outside!).
Not finished, but close! I put the fuschias all the way around the gathered bottom of the scarf so no matter how you turn it the dancing ladies swing and dangle like a glorious basket around my neck! Just a few details left to do but its almost complete.
Now I can have my fuschias and wear them too!  :-)

Time to create something new (again). I look out at the winter snow over my balcony which is bare of hanging planters this time of year and I miss my fuschia baskets. I love those flowers with their bright colors and ruffle dancing skirts. I enjoy watching the hummingbirds find them like a beacon and flit from blossom to blossom. I want my fuschias now. I think I'll just make myself a hanging basket of bright blossoms to wear! I've downloaded some photos and made some sketches of what I want it to look like. I'm eager and ready to roll with this, now I need to raid my supply stash (don't we all have a ton of craft supplies?!) and the refridge for sustenance.

Ribbon, beads, satin fabric, stamens ... check.  Thread, needles, scissors ... check. Sewing machine on ... check. Lunch first ... okay, energized! Ready, set, CRAFT!!  :-)

I was hoping to find a more olive color in my stash but I didn't have it and told her that the jewel tone of the forest green came close to my vision. Funny, but it's interesting how one person may not like a color but another person may say "hey, I love it". Personally, I think it's just fine! :-)
