I used the "how to weave on a cardboard loom" tutorial and took it to a new level by weaving strips of plastic bags. I used a low temperature iron to fuse the woven plastic "fabric" to additional layers of bag (on the wrong side) for additional sturdiness. I cut and finally sewed the plastic "fabric" together, using garbage bag as piping and fringe at the hem. The back zipper is reclaimed from a vintage garment. Dress is fully lined in recycled fabrics.
