Funky Flower Key Ring
March 28th, 2009 in sewing, fashion, restyle, gifts, galleryUse remnant rick rack, silk flowers from previous flower arrangement, spare buttons, hot glue, and an empty key ring to make this Funky Flower Key Ring.
- Cut double desired key ring length of rick rack
- Hot glue or stitch the length of the rick rack with the empty key ring (image 2)
- Remove flower buds from the stems and tips seperating the petal layers.
- Gather mulitple petal layers to create a full looking flower.
- Choose a button in contrasting color
- Stitch with embroidery thread to rick rack. (image 3 & 4)
- Hem exposed end of rick rack and glue or sew over the rear stitches for a clean finished look.
