Wedding Sculpture
comments (3) April 15th, 2009 in galleryThis large wedding sculpture is made by recycling old Barbie and Ken dolls, a paint can, wire, tin tray, yarn, ribbons, a napkin, and old silk flowers. After wiring and gluing everything together, I covered it with plaster of paris. I like to think the Earth is represented by the plaster. Fire is symbolized by the figures (their love, passion, marriage). Wind is the yarn and ribbons. And lastly, the Water is embodied in the paint can and tray which once held liquids. It stands a dramatic 22" x 15". I've already used this as a special table decoration for a Wedding Party!
