Sunny Yellow Felt Baby Booties

I've had little felt baby shoes on my crafting to-do list for some time now. Using the Baby Booties Pattern from Piper Quilts as my guide, I sewed up these little shoes with Wool Blend Felt in Pineapple and Blue Martini (as the base). For the finishing touches, I tied on layered felt buttons and laced up the booties with pure silk ribbon.

Now that I've made this first pair, I'm hooked and can't wait to try the same versatile pattern with various types and colors of felt and add embroidery on the toes!
