No need to wish on these little stars - Foldingtrees.com is a paper crafters dream come true!
Add a little string for the perfect starry garland.
Once you get the hang of this design, you might not be able to stop the star-making...
Hand-spun newspaper yarn - what a cool idea!

I’ve been on a little bit of an origami kick as of late (partly because of an article I have coming up in our Holiday Makeover Ideas Issue, on stands in October) and was absolutely thrilled when I discovered links to this new paper-craft site on a couple of crafting blogs!

Folding Trees credits itself for “the best tutorials and paper creations online” and with great new projects as well as shout-outs to the coolest paper crafts in the blogosphere daily, I’d say they are living up to that claim. I love the handspun newspaper yarn but my favorite project so far is the Lucky Wishing Stars origami design. These puffy little stars are adorable on their own or would look great strung on some ribbon thread for a new-age garland idea!
