Enlarge an Outgrown Kid's Tee
May 17th, 2009 in sewing, fashion, restyle, galleryStitch Witchery is a great way to stabilize interlock cotton for top stitching seams. My daughter outgrew one of her favorite t-shirts both around her body and at the sleeve. Now she can enjoy it for another season. The contrast strip is from a shirt that I tie bleached some time ago. I used the finished hem at the sleeve.
I'll be leading workshops restyling t-shirts at the upcoming Swaporamarama May 31st in Santa Monica. Details and links on my blog.
