Exposed zippers are everywhere. When I first noticed that designers were putting their zippers on the right side of the garment,  showing the twill tape and all, I thought it was a fad that would disappear quicker than it came about. But, I started to warm up to this trend when I saw a dress with a gold zipper running from neckline to hem along the center back seam. I liked it because the designer obviously gave some thought to the kind of zipper they used...the twill tape was made of gold mesh... From time to time, I've seen exposed zippers on all sorts of garments, bags and shoes.  Well, this trend has finally found it's way to jewelry!  Check out this Zip-it necklace that I found on Stylehive.  It was created by Cynics, an Australian design team.  It's an actual zipper that was adapted to one cool necklace!  It's available a bunch of finishes and the length is adjustable--the perfect accessory to "zip" your ensemble together!
