Dreamingreen writes: If you intend to glue the flowers together to make a globe, I highly recommend making your flowers with five petals instead of six. I tried it with six and it was very awkward and difficult to get a symmetrical-looking globe. Six petals just seem to be mathematically wrong (or maybe it's me). Now I know why the Japanese flower globes that I've seen on origami websites are usually shown with five.
