The new season of Project Runway on Lifetime starts August 20th, and I can't wait!

To kick off the new season, Lifetime created a free online program that lets you send your friends personalized messages straight from Tim Gunn himself.

The program is customizable so you can put in your friend's name, occupation, and hobbies. You can even select your favorite Project Runway catch phrase for Tim to share with your friend.

You can send as many as you want to brighten up the day of any fellow Tim fan.

Anyone else as excited about the new season as I am?

KaySam writes: Tim is the BEST! Incredible talented with loads of personality which is very grounding in the the budding and experienced designers. I love him--go, go, go, you have 5 minutes left when in Mood and best of all 10 minutes to the runway--Designers I love what I see--"Make it work" and this support carries many designers through the process as grueling as it is!!

SewJoe writes: I have a most memorable moment from the mouth of Tim Gunn. I tried out for season 4 Project Runway, and after interviewing and waiting most of the morning at the fabulous downtown L.A. Standard Hotel, I finally 'made it upstairs' to see Tim and the rest of the production entourage.
I entered the room, fashions in hand, fluttering heart and an excited smile. "It's not what we're looking for" was all I heard from across the room. There was no doubt who of the four people sitting at that table quipped those painful words. Tim, in his distinct manner and interesting voice, had cut me to the quick. Well, how could I be bummed? He's such a doll, and just trying out for Project Runway was a really cool experience, maybe I'll try again sometime.
