Art to wear in paper
August 24th, 2009 in other crafts, fashion, paper crafts, videos
Video Length: 2:42
Produced by: me
The video begins with a story of Liu Ling, one of the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove in the Western Jin Dynasty in China. The concept is based on 3 elements of Architecture: Space, order and light from Le Corbusier's words This video is originally a presentation in powerpoint, and converted by keynote. The background music is made myself with garageband because I am afread of copyright problems. If you feel the music not so right, please not so critical. After all, it is my first try. All the photos in the video are took by a Nikon digital camera in the studio at work. The clothes are made of tracing paper, so they have perfect transluscent look. The design had conceived at 2002, but it has never been carried out until now because of my laziness. At the first place, I wanted to have an exhibiton , but lack of financial support, so I decided to make it on line. The paper clothes at present is put away, but takes quite some places. I am looking for some solution. Any ideas?
