One of the many great things about weaving is that anything goes. I happen to have a weakness for pretty ribbons and while I keep my gift giving revved up in high gear, I still have a huge stash waiting to be a wrapped up. That's why I was so excited to find this super how-to by The Vintage Chica. This excellent step-by-step project shows you how to weave with ribbons or bias tape and create a "fabric" piece to make into a pillow. I also have a propensity for turning the simplest of projects into something MUCH more complicated. That's why after reading Vintage Chica's cool post I started thinking about a ribbon duvet cover...but wouldn't that be cool?
