Diaper Bag and Matching Changing Pad
August 31st, 2009 in sewing, gifts, galleryAfter I learned my former college roommate was having her first baby, I went a little overboard with making her and her little one gifts.
Here is a diaper bag I made using an Amy Butler cotton for the outside and a polka-dot cotton I found at Jo-Ann's on the inside. I fused iron-on vinyl to all of the pieces before sewing them to make the entire bag water-resistant.
The changing pad is made from an old Alexander Hamilton print and terry cloth. They're quilted with 4 layers of batting so it's extra soft for the wee-ones toosh.
I also blogged about them here.
