Recycled newspaper rainbags
September 22nd, 2009 in restyle, knitting, galleryThis gown was desigZned and created by me, Deb Seeger. I cut rectangular bags into spiral strips them wound into balls just like wool yarn. I designed the pattern with no expereince in knittting. The bottom of the gown is a ruffle which I made by knitting 3 stitches and purling 3 stitches. The original design was for the ruffle to grace the floor but my inexpereince in knitting prohibited me by lack of knowledge in technique. Now, I see I could have knitted the ruffle in sections and seamed it.
