I made this dress by changing a pattern (Simplicity 2865).  I traced an almost 1/2 circle skirt, and a racerback bodice out of chiffon.  The underlining is cotton jersey, made to the original dress pattern (but shortened) so while it looks darn sexy, its also very comfy!  It was the colours that caught my eye...

I came across this on Net-a-Porter.com and downloaded the image as an inspiration.  Now its gone, and they havent yet replied to the email I sent, asking who designed it.  So I dont know that right yet!

This is my submission for the fall challenge.  A friend gave me a pattern for a racerback casual dress, which is lovely, but I wanted to "jeuge" it up a bit.  Browsing on net-a-porter.com, I came across this gorgeous cocktail dress, and the rest is history!

Make more beautiful dresses!
