I make bags almost constantly. To me, there is nothing as cool as making something to carry stuff around in. The construction is a basic rectangle with the top corners lopped off. The turtle body itself is appliqued and the shell part is quilted and sewn on as a pocket. The bag is fully lined in the same material the turtle is made of. I gave it to my aunt as a present and she loved it.
