Inspired by those little paint chips that hardware stores let you take by the handful, these crafters came up with some awesome project ideas.

- Stash them: Designer Aaron Tang of Designverb.com offers step-by-step directions to make these great paint chip card holders. I think they would also double as the perfect place to put business cards or flash cards.
- Hang them: Crafster member its_TRAGICX was inspired by Sears paint chips and decided to make curtains by attaching the chips with paper clips - they have an awesome retro vibe!
- Embroider them: Artist Lisa Solomon creates original pieces by punching holes in paint chips and then embroidering her designs.
- Grow them? This paint chip tree by Crafster member Melissa! won’t ever need to be watered!

Ever used paint chips (or something else free and unexpected) in a project? Share your ideas here!
