This tote is crocheted from four different colored acrylic yarns combined together - red, orange, maroon and hot pink. It is very stretchy and will accomodate almost anything you can put into it. I loaded it up with heavy cans of spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, a mayo jar, chocolate drink can, box of pasta and more. Everything fit well and was easy to carry and there was still room for more! A drawstring is threaded through the top for easy opening and closing. I added a shoulder strap in a cream, magenta and olive floral print cotton fabric. I used four layers to make it sturdy and comfortable. I hand sewed the strap to the bag, going over it twice to make sure it won't come apart with a heavy load. I also added a double layered fabric yo-yo pin with a beautiful Czech art glass button for the center.
