Willow July Tote
July 30th, 2008 in sewing, galleryI'd like to enter Willow July Tote into the Tote-ally crafty bag challenge as Eco-Chic! Willow July Tote has so much texture, you won't ever want to set it down. The outer fabric is uniquely flocked with a bright yellow velvety vintage design. The interior is a gorgeous sage chiffon, used directly from an old bride's maid dress. (because you'll never really wear it again) The design is inspired by the beach and has very easy access while the corners can be folded in for security. To keep things interesting, I added a secret exterior vertical 8" zipper slash pocket. This pocket secures your tiny electronics. There is one small interior pocket. I love the feel of bride's maid dresses, wearing them is a different story! Recycling them into lining for beautiful tote bags is a fine solution!
