DIGGOver 50 yellow bags and white bags and a half dozen red bags were crocheted to make this lovely shoulder tote.
I would love to win the contest. It was a great brain challenge to make this bag quickly. I only discovered this contest a week ago, so I had little time to cut up all those bags and make something colorful, pretty and - something I would like to show off around town. One of my three children asked me why I was doing so much crocheting and I thought to my self, "It's the thrill of the challenge!". And it is indeed a thrill.

Eco-Chic: If you are an ardent recycler or a master of innovation (or both) this category is for you. Make a tote bag out of the brilliant use of recycled, or unconventional materials.
The Omni-Crafter Special: If you are the lucky challenge hopeful who simply can't decide which one of your crafty passions to employ, try all of them. This category challenges you to make artful use of as many DIY talents you can get into the making of one awesome tote.
