My First Sewing Project - Restyle Jean Tote!

This is my very first sewing project with my sewing machine. I did not use a pattern...I just decided to "wing" it. I used two legs out of an old pair of jeans I had and scrap fabric. I made the strap out of an old tee shirt...cut into 5 inch strip with 3 strip together and crochet it. It looks braided but w/o the bulk. Honetly though, a t-shirt is too stretchy :(...improvements for next time around. The inside has a cell pocket and two other small pockets for gloss and cards.

I added embelishment for fun.  It's nice an d light weight (no interfacing) prefect for toting around my crochet projects!!!!

I'm pretty proud of myself. But right now, I'm doind shirts and dresses....restyled....which I love and will post soon!
