Answer to the Flower Power Challenge, Blossom Pouch
September 11th, 2008 in galleryThis pouch is about the size of a large apple, just big enough to hold
a lipstick, credit card, lace edged hankie and keys. It is also a
charming place to store jewelry in plain site. The pouch has a
drawstring closure. The drawstring is "I" chord with bead crocheted
leaf ends.
This pattern, like all my knitted pouches, is my
own design. There are 3,000+ size 8/0 Czech glass mix. The pouch itself
was knitted with #8 Finca pearl cotton on a 000 cable needle. In addition to the "Blossom Pouch", I designed a "Pumpkin Pouch" that is very similar.
