Re: Book Review: Craft Challenge: Dozens of Ways to Repurpose a Pillowcase
What fun ideas! I have granddaughters that I would have loved to have made those pinafores for and maybe I will have more. I have always found that creative ideas lead to more of my own creativeness and hope to win this book for more ideas for more fun sewing.

Both of my grandmothers were extremely talented. One would make coats for all the girls in the family (and there were plenty) just by looking at us and it would fit perfect. Our parents didn't need to buy us girls coats for many years as she was a wonderful tailor. My other grandmother did the best in sewing, crocheting and tatting. Unfortunate for me we were to be seen and not heard and never learned from them. I so wish those days were back and I would beg to learn from them both. But I do have one of my grandmother's button stash and my mother's who passed recently. Yes, I am a button freak and proud of it.

Cute is right! There are projects I would love to do for myself and to share sewing time with my Granddaughters. I don't usually win at these type of things but maybe this will be my lucky item. Love the book and this site.

These turned out light and refreshing. I have also used tableclothes for curtains. When you let your imagination go their are so many fun ways to decorate. Thanks for your ideas.
