This is a great idea. Did you know that hefty sells mini heavy ziplock bags. You could sew this to the bag inside the cloth bag and use the zip for the closure and sew a few stitches at each end just as you did with the velcro. This makes it safer and cuter to carry. Add a strap and take it anywhere.
