My mom taught me to knit when I was 5 and I learned to crochet at summer camp, in East Douglass, MA, when I was 9. Thirty years later I realize the real beauty and practicality of those skills I learned so long ago. Thank God for babies (aged 7,5,&3;) who help to rearrange ones life and offer new challenges and opportunities for Mom to grow. Crocheting has become an outlet for me to be ...creative and more ...myself when I sometimes feel lost in the busy-ness of my life.

Eco-lovely Bag

Over 50 yellow bags and white bags and a half dozen red bags were crocheted to make this lovely shoulder tote. I would love to win the contest. It was a great brain challenge to make this bag...

Re: How to Patch a Hole with Crochet

Last summer I repaired a mermaid doll for a sad little 2-year -old in the same way, but with embroidery floss. Yikes. I am happy to see that great minds do truly think alike.

Re: Challenge: Crochet basket with plastic bag yarn - Eco Category

I can't BELIEVE how big this bag is! I'm curious about how many bags you used and how long it took to make this. Great bag!
