Studio 62 began as an intriguing hobby of a mom and her two daughters, as they desired to do something they love and spend more time together. After a tragic car accident in 2005 took the life of their only brother and her only son, Matt, 18, the trio knew they had to do something that not only kept them busy, but honored him at the same time. The name of the company itself does just that. 62 was Matt's football number.

The company offers something that is special, unique, and fun, just like their beloved son and brother. He loved to help others, and Studio 62 is helping keep his giving spirit alive by donating part of its profits to benefit The Matt Monroe Memorial Scholarship Fund through Citizens First Bank. This fund awards three scholarships every year to high school seniors to help them with the expenses of their post-secondary education.

When you purchase a product from Studio 62, you are not only getting something fun and exciting for yourself, but you are helping today's youth further their education and are keeping the spirit of one very special and loved young man alive.

Re: Calling All Crafters...

Save your cards each Christmas season. After the holidays, cut the front of the cards off and trim edges using scrapbook scissors or cut pretty pictures from the fronts with you shape cutting tools. Save the designs in you gift wrap box. Next year, you have your gift tags all ready! Simply put the to and from on the blank side and attach to gifts using string or tape! What a great way to re purpose and reuse!
