I have been crafting all my life, and selling some of those crafts for about 35yrs. I am a RN, a Mother of two young men, four fish and three four-legged boys, and have gardened my whole life.

I truly enjoy experimenting with natures ingredients, and brewing a recipe that benefits us while preserving the earth. I have been making my own bath & body products, w/ help from my garden for about 10 yrs. now, under the label Unique Garden Essences. All of my ingredients, even the rarely used fragrance oils, are entirely natural, botanical or vegetable, and from renewable sources. I dont use chemicals, artificial preservatives, petroleum or oil refinery products. I even grow all the herbs & flowers used in my recipes, unless I snag them from my friends gardens. I really enjoy taking my finished products and creating an unique gift presentation with them too. I often hand-paint my own gift-boxes, as well as design baskets and other unique containers for gift-giving.

Some of my friends say that I have craft adhd because I simply cannot do only one type of craft, shoot, I cant even do one at a time! So what am I to do with all the scrapbook pages, birdhouses, ornaments, book markers, picture frames, hand-painted trays, gemstone bracelets, crystal earrings, gemstone watches, and gemstone necklaces? Well, I had to come up with another name and start selling those too! That was how uniqueXpression was born.

Then, last year, I made some all natural dog treats for my Mothers and my dogs. They were such a hit that Mom offered some to a neighbor, who offered to buy some, who told other neighbors, who wanted to buy some. Then, as fate would have it, I was heading to a craft show, with my crafts, jewelry and bath products, and I decided that I should just go ahead and take those dog treats that I just baked. Maybe I could sell them too. Of course I had to quickly decide upon a name and, being that it was late and I was tired, I wasnt in a very creative mood. So Unique Treat Dog Bones was born.

Well, there you have it in a nutshell, the beginnings of my three companies. When I found Etsy, it was not too difficult to figure out that I needed to open three shops, to try and keep confusion to a minimum.
