Hmm let's see... I started sewing when I graduated from college after mom suggested that I learn to make things rather than always hunting for items while shopping together. She gave me her sewing machine (used only once) and we went to pick out fabric and a pattern! After I made my first purse, I was invited to an American Sewing Guild meeting to show it off and to also learn more about sewing! Little did I know that I'd become the ASG Communications Director 4 years later! I've relocated to Houston and am now working alongside ASG Headquarters staff to continue promoting the "Sewing Friends Network"!
