I love to knit more than anything, although I dabble in many other crafts. I always have several knitting projects going at once--one for charity, one to take to the Thursday night craft group held at Taunton Press where I work, one that requires counting and total concentration (and thus silence while I knit), and one that I can knit while watching TV or chatting with my husband. During the spring and summer I spend time knitting or doing other crafts on our deck enjoying the gardens while they’re in bloom!

I made this afghan for my daughter and her new husband. They chose the pattern and the yarn to coordinate with their living room decor.
