I worked as an Occupational Therapist, mostly working in home care. I spent most of my time being a mother to 4 children, 3 girls and one boy. They are all grown now and I have 4 grandchildren. We had our home in Lafayette, Ca, but we now live in a retirement community in Walnut Creek, called Rossmoor. My husband of almost 50 years is living with me and our Burmese cat. I like to sew, knit, embroidery, do silk embroidery and other crafts that catch my fancy. I am currently taking a class in crazy quilting and have done 2 purses, starting a vest. I have tried polymer clay but do not do it at the moment. The outfit I am wearing is my creation. The skirt was found fabric, the t-shirt has silk embroidery in the shoulder.

I love give-a-ways also. I do have a handy little "bag" that is made from a "left over" pillow case, that I would like to make to carry my embroidery floss, from hither to thither. I am into crazy quilting at the moment and I like to carry my work with me. I
