I live in Tasmania, Australia, I am 60 (almost 61) years old, married to a wonderful man, Trevor, and we have a purr baby called Fraidy (because he is scared of almost everything, even his own shadow LOL).

I have just started doing crochet again because I am finding it increasingly difficult to do fine embroidery, so I am looking for all the patterns I can find on the web. There is very little available in Australia, especially in Tasmania which has only approx. 500,000 people in the whole state. The web has solved that problem in a big way. I am finding threads, free patterns, and also patterns and books for buying of course.

My other interests are reading, surfing the web, and gardening.
