My favorite thing to do is spend time with my 3 grand children, along with making things for each of them too.

I have been sewing since I was 14 years old.

I just recently am learning how to do scrapbooking.

I recently made the mile stone of turning 50.

I feel good about this new age and that I have made it to be of this age and I hope to live another 50 years +.

To have a Sewing Room decorated in a Retro era design setting would be so neat for me to be able to hang out in so as I could sew, make things and to relax doing what I love to do, and hopefully my grand children will want to learn how to sew & be creative too.

Re: How to Turn Your Portraits into Patterns

I really like the idea of taking a portraits, and made patterns of your grandparents.

You have given me a neat project to do for making a Christmas gift for my mom, of her parents(whom passed away many years ago).

I will be looking forward to next weeks of how you went about stitching your grandfathers portrait.

So as I will be able to learn how to be able to hopefully make a pattern out of my grandparents photo of the two of them to be able to give to my 70 year old mom.

I will let you know how I do at trying this turning a portrait into a pattern.
