I think I begin making things slightly after the time of my birth. I can remember being fascinated by jar lids and ball chains. My daddy was an incredible whittler and taught me how to knit and crochet. Mama taught me to embroider as soon as I was old enough to hold a needle. I began going to art museums when I was a mere babe. (Should I mention that I'm still a babe? Guess not!)

My husband and I started doing craft shows the first year we were married. I do machine embroidered linens and make jewelry. My husband makes jewelry boxes to complement my jewelry and linens. He also does small hope chests.

Not only do we sell online, but we are looking at buying a travel trailer for our upcoming fall shows.

I have found that success in the craft cusiness comes from MANY LONG hours of hard work.
