I love creating beautiful and useful things and I have been knitting, sewing and painting most of my life. But I was still searching for something that would excite me to the core and make me want to do it all day long.
Finally 2 years ago, I was introduced to needle felting/felting and instantly fell in love with it. It combines all the qualities I find irresistible to work with in one medium. The colours are brilliant and vibrant and the feel of the roving and the finished felt speak to my soul and my need to touch and feel.
I take pleasure in the endless possibilities that felt offers me. I can make anything from precise pictures/sculptures to abstract designs and felt is perfect for being combined with other materials.
